Hi friends! Hope you’re all having a great week!
How cute is this wall art?! I can’t believe I never knew if existed until recently. As soon as I saw it I wanted to take some fun pictures for the blog annnnd my sweet hubby stood in traffic to get them. This got me thinking about a post on all our favorite spots in Columbia in case you’re ever traveling and stop in! If you’re new here; Columbia, South Carolina is home and these are a few of our must see/eat/drink/play spots.
Cola’s – one of my all time fav’s!! Food, drinks, atmosphere is all great.
Bourbon – they change their menu a good bit so there is always something new to try!
Private Property – low key spot with great food! Make sure to make a reservation – they book quickly.
Terra – Matt and I had our first real date here so it clearly holds a special place. If you’re looking for a great wine list I’d recommend Terra!
Mr. Friendly’s – is upscale country cooking a thing? If so, Mr. Friendly’s. Shrimp + Adluh grits, yes please.
SakiTumi – for all my sushi lovers.
116 – Our go-to brunch spot. Omelettes, pancakes, french toast, grits, everything.
Cinnamon Roll Deli – The name says it all.
DiPratos – three words: best pimento cheese. Ever. Everything is good.
Motor Supply – so many options + bomb Bloody Mary’s.
Cafe Struddle – Best french toast! Also, they have mimosa pitchers. yum*
Pearlz – Good drinks and atmosphere. Make sure you sit upstairs with the jazz band.
Hendrix – Newer rooftop bar in Columbia! Pricier but fun place to chill.
River Rat Brewery – inside/outside/roof-top places to sit. They also have popsicle frose if beer isn’t your thing.
Hunter-Gatherer Brewery – Good food & beer!
Columbia Craft – Small but fun brewery with great beer and food trucks.
Steel Hands Brewing – This is a newer brewery in Columbia. If you’re looking for a fun stop to bring your pups and hang I’d recommend.
Soda City – Every Saturday from 9am – 1pm Main Street opens up to more than 150 venders with food, flowers, coffee, art and handmade items for sale. This is a must do when the weather is pretty!
Hope you enjoyed my little guide and got some options if you’re planning to travel anytime soon. I’d love to hear what you think! Thank you for reading.
